Combined reinforcement for the foundation slab of a complex administrative building of the district in Reutlingen.

Optimisation with SFRC

Complicated floor plan and the associated crack width problems, high column loads with many required punching strips
Reduction of cross-section of the foundation slab from the original 126 cm and 145 cm to 110 cm and 130 cm, thanks to the additional share capacity of steel fibre concrete in the punching shear check
With a total floor area of approx. 8000 m², the reduction of panel thicknesses brought a significant economic advantage
